Yvonne was born in ilseworth london in 1940. which she spent most of her childhood, in 1957 the family moved to suffolk where her parents Ivy and George Stopps were the landlords of the One bell public house in Little Cornard, where Yvonne married Arthur East before having their first daughter Karen in 1959.
Yvonne and her family lived in several different villiges, some of these including Little Henny where her second daughter Melanie was born in 1963.
After living in Little Henny, the family moved to Acton before moving to the workers house at the Mill where Yvonne's husband Arthur was one of the last workers at the Mill before it became the Mill hotel.
From there they moved to Hill Crest road in sudbury before settling in Woodhall road where Yvonne and Arthur spent many happy years till Yvonne's death in 2002.Karen and Melanie both had two children Melanie having Luke in 1987, Anna in 1990 and Karen having Jodie (me)in 1988 and Jane in 1990. In 2007 i (Jodie)had a beautiful baby girl who i was very proud to name Yvonne i wished my grandmother had have been here to watch her grow. Yvonne was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and the key to our family she is still very much missed.

Nan, i have so much i want to say to you and yet i cant find the courage too write it all down now.
As you i knw i do miss u so much, i wish i could remember more about when us grandchildren were all growing up and having you with us.
i still have a poem you wrote 2 me framed in my bedroom which you wrote on your keyboard we all used 2 love.
You always brang so much to are family and u are always in our thoughts. if ever im feeling down or things arnt going quite rite, i look to the sky ask you 2 help and it always ends up being ok. so thankyou i love you xxxxxxx
